Fantastic time at A Dove Nest celebrating my wife's birthday. Patti said she would love to make this place a tradition. Bob was a welcoming, helpful host. We enjoyed conversation with them and other guests. Sandy's breakfasts were abundant and delicious. The setting is beautiful (It was fun watching the deer family graze and the swan family fly!) and the room was super clean and more than comfortable; especially the Jacuzzi tub!
We came here on our honeymoon and as long as doves nest is around, we will spend our anniversaries here! So friendly, beautiful surroundings inside and out! You'll never forget the yummy breakfasts either!!! Thx Mr Dove for the great hospitality and opening your home to guests!
A Dove Nest B & B could not have been better! My husband and l went there for our anniversary weekend. Host, Bob, was great, very friendly, but not intrusive. The property is wonderful, a great place to recharge your batteries from the daily grind. The wildlife, scenic lookouts, and attention to detail combined to make our stay super relaxing. Our room was great too!! Breakfast in the morning was fresh, delicious, and mouth watering and the coffee....excellent. We will be back, so glad to have discovered this place.

While it can be a bit difficult to find, this place is definitely worth the time to find it. It's an absolutely beautiful estate, made of nice logs from the UP back around the turn of the millennia. Bob, the host there, is very gentle and friendly to the guests and has a variety of things for you to enjoy in the calm countryside. Even just sitting by English Lake nearby is an enjoyable experience. The breakfast at 9 in the morning is a wonderful experience made by Sandy who is always willing to make you satisfied with your breakfast. This place is the perfect weekend getaway as you can relax and enjoy nature all in the comfort of a homely setting. This place is also beautiful for weddings, too!
